Suggested taxi tours
If you would like a tour to anywhere in the UK we are happy to speak to you about it and supply you with a price. Closer to home there are some amazing places to visit in the west of England. Here are a few suggestions for places you might like to visit.
Stonehenge
Stonehenge is one of the best known ancient wonders of the world.
With a 3500 year history, this mighty neolithic monument stands the test of time as one of ancient man’s greatest and logic defying triumphs of architecture.
Built in 3 phases over 1500 years we are still trying to understand the true purpose behind its monolithic stones. Was it a temple for sun worshippers, a burial site or perhaps a giant calendar?
Avebury Henge
20 miles from Stonehenge lies the village of Avebury and Avebury henge.
Avebury henge is a larger henge than Stonehenge and unlike Stonehenge you can walk among the stones and enen tough them.
You will also enter into a neolithic burial mound and Europe’s tallest prehistoric man-made structure at Avebury.
Longleat House and Safari Park
Longleat House and Safari Park is situared near the town of Warminster.
It is the home of Alexander Thynn, the 7th Marquess of Bath, his son, Viscount Ceawlin Thynn, and Viscountess Emma Weymouth.
There are over 900 acres of ‘Capability’ Brown landscaped parkland, a safari park, maze, animal shows and regular events, there’s plenty to see and do.
